A group of 7 friends who are passionate about music and (more
importantly), having a good time. We play a mixture of jazz, blues
and rock n roll.
Victoria
Morris - tenor saxophone, alto saxophone, clarinet
Victoria, who set up the band, regularly plays with ska band
Guns of Navarone and is a member of The Lazy River Trio.
Barrie Marshall saxophone
Barrie brings over 40 years of experience and masses of talent to
the band. He runs his own jazz band The Sun Street Stompers and
plays in many other groups including The New Riverside Jazz Band,
The Quayside Hot Stompers, The Slick Serenaders and The Red Rose
Brass Band.
Alan Deane guitar & vocals
Alan also runs his own band The Lazy River Trio and regularly
appears at blues festivals in the North West. He also plays with a
trio based in Ireland.
Hellhound Rex Haymes guitar & vocals
Rex has been playing blues for many years and often performs in
Lancaster with his duo WMD.
Adrian Morris - bass
Adrian plays regularly with the Sun Street Stompers and is a member
of the Lazy River Trio.
Adrian also plays bass
with the Lune Valley Vintage Jazz Band.
Tim Ayre drums
Tim is an absolute natural and very versatile drummer who makes
jivehoot really swing!
Mary Austin - trumpet
Mary joined the band in the autumn of 2006. A talented musician, she
also plays with Bay Beat and Off The Rails. Just listen to her hit
those high notes in Joe Avery's Piece! Wow!
