A group of 7 friends who are passionate about
music and (more importantly), having a good time. We play a mixture
of jazz, blues and rock ‘n’ roll. Great for dancing!
Victoria Morris - band
leader, tenor saxophone, alto saxophone, clarinet & flute
Victoria, who set up the band, also plays as part of a jazz trio and
occasionally performs as a solo artist with backing CD's. She
teaches woodwind for the Lancashire Music Service and offers private
tuition.
Alan Deane – guitar & vocals
Alan regularly appears at blues festivals in the North West and
occasionally plays with a trio based in Ireland. Alan is also a
great dancer; if you fancy a jive, he’s your man!
“Hellhound” Rex Haymes – guitar & vocals
Rex has been playing blues for many years and often performs in
Lancaster with his duo – WMD.
Adrian Morris - bass
A member of the Sun Street Stompers, the Lune Valley Vintage Jazz
Band and a regular ‘dep’ with the New Riverside Jazz Band and
the Billionaires amongst others..
Tim Ayre – drums
Tim is an absolute natural and very versatile drummer who makes
jivehoot really swing!
Nicole
Ronson - alto saxophone & clarinet
Nicole studied music at University and has toured the USA and
Europe with several bands, she plays Clarinet, Sax, Flute and Piano
and teaches for the Blackpool Music Service and as a classroom
teacher in a Blackpool Primary School.
Gemma
Davies - soprano saxophone
Gemma completes our all-girl saxophone section with some hot
soprano. She also plays lead tenor saxophone in a Lancaster big
band.
